SHUM is a team of interdisciplinary artists who create physical art objects and digital content. Our commercial artistic projects arise from sincere passion and mind games, with experimentation and irony as central elements.
Born out of a decade-long friendship, Andrey Gorlachev (new media artist) and Alexander Zhiganov (creative producer) initiated our journey in January 2023, and together with 11 like-minded creators, they form the core of SHUM.

Microrave is a miniature rave installation, compressed into a one-meter circular stage. While most festivals and parties try to go bigger each year, Microrave goes the other way. But it includes everything you’d expect from a full-size party — lights, lasers, strobes, visuals, bars, and a techno soundtrack.
The viewer looks down from above — like in “God mode”. They observe a whole world in motion, where the scale is small, but the experience feels full-sized. This moment feels both powerful and nostalgic.
It awakens the inner child — we all played with tiny figures, soldiers, or dolls. Microrave brings that format into the adult world, with lasers and sound.This new media art installation works well at exhibitions, festivals and parties.We can also tailor the content for special events and include sponsorship integration.
The art installation has 1 meter diameter and 1 meter height. It requires 220v power connection. The setup is simple and takes around 2 hours. For the best experience, we will need audio speaker and a fog machine.
